YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY MYSTERY For those of you who are new to this journal, welcome!
Just a few notes: The parts that say 'EDIT:' means it is something I came to back after I posted, and changed.
The comments below this journal are just as important as the blog its self. Many people post quotes from PATD that are interesting to read and additional information you might want to know.
For Puzzle Reference, just incase your computer doesn't have flash:

EDIT: The link above refers to the old puzzle. There are no new links/special parts to the current puzzle.

http://www.panicatthedisco.com is BLANK! Nothing, nada. Just a page of white?! The band sent out a bulletin on myspace titled 'Oh, hello!' and the inner message was 'It's starting...' with only a link to the website.
Hidden in the 'view source':
Oh, hello. Glad you could make it. Did you have any trouble finding the place? Hope you enjoy.
Thursday, December 13th
Oh look! Today there is some sort of message. Missing quite a few letters. I'm trying to think of all the possibilities!
And I need your help.
Here is the image:

Post suggestions to this confunding conundrum?
Hidden in the 'view source':
A link to an image of tacos. ...lolol wtf!
Guesses so far:
You don't have to ?? cry?
You don't have to worry
I will continue adding guesses, so post away!
PS. I don't know if this helps at all, but the original file name, when I saved the image, was 'ohidontknow1'.
EDIT: Highlighting the page reveals a clock in the top left corner, that points to 9. Hmm, Nine In the Afternoon, anyone? [In case you didn't know, that's a new PATD song that has solely been played at concerts, not released officially]
Saturday, December 15th
I think the fill-it-in message is pretty much solved. If you scroll down, you can fit new letters in. The message is 'You don't have to worry'. Thanks to ryreenkisses for that information!
Monday, December 17th
IT'S NOT OVER.
Oh how I wonder where PATD is going where this is.
The title of the website is now 'YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY...' which I am assuming will be the album name.
EDIT:“[’You don’t have to worry’] is a lyric in the first track of our new record,” explained drummer Spencer Smith. “We chose it to open the record, [because] it was written for that purpose.”
There is now a random jigsaw puzzle on the website...
'thisisjustajigsawpuzzle' is the file name. Hmmm....guesses anyone?
Hidden in the view source: Oh, back so soon? It's really nice to see you again

Wednesday, December 19th
'01:01:08'.
Wtf. Someone have ANY idea what that's supposed to mean?!
-yaarulyparuly thinks it might be when the new single comes out! I'm going with that idea for now.
Now, if you wave the mouse over the upper-left-hand corner of the puzzle, some sort of audio plays. It sounds like.. Brendon? Any suggestions as to what he's singing? 'Whoaa I'm invincible' is all I can get out of it so far. [EDIT: He's actually singing 'Oooh, how it's been so long'!]
Also, the view source has an extra message added to it. And the file name is now 'isthisjustajigsawpuzzle'. [thanks, vampirexfreak!]
'Oh, back so soon?
It's really nice to see you again
Care for an hors d'oeuvre?'
Wednesday, December 26th
Sorry I haven't updated in a while, folks! I was away on vacation and unable to get internet access...
Thank you ryreenkisses for helpful links and info. Now we know that "You Don't Have To Worry" is a lyric from the first track in the new album!
Some updates on the website include...
-If you hover over the last piece in second puzzle it sounds like Brendon singing 'We're so sorry we've been gone"!
-The view source now says 'HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!'. Panic! is awesome eh?
Okay everyone, suggestions suggestions suggestions! I personally think that each clip, when the puzzle is finished, will help to complete a whole song. Possibly the first song off the album. What do you think?
Tuesday, January 1st
Sooo even though I'm updating on the 2nd, all of the following happened yesterday. Thank you to ALL the commenters below me who help me keep updated, and tell me about things I might have missed! I will now go through the updates in order from least important to most important:
-The puzzle piece with the date '01:01:08' is now gone.
-The hidden message in the view source has been changed to 'WE'RE SO STARVING', the title of PATD's NEW SONG! It's what we've all been waiting for!
-If you click on the second puzzle piece in the third row of the puzzle, it leads to a link to PATD's Myspace blog. Here's the link:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.ListAll&friendID=6534560
The song is at the bottom of their music player. The song is basically a message to the fans [as vampirexfreak pointed out]. Thanks to http://funeralromance.blogspot.com/ for the following lyrics:
Oooh, how it's been so long
We're so sorry we've been gone
We were busy writing songs for
You
Oooh, how it's been so long
We're so sorry we've been gone
We were busy writing songs for…
You don't have to worry ‘cause
We're the still the same
(we're still the same)
Band
You don't have to worry
You don't have to worry
You don't
You don't have to worry
You don't have to worry
You don't
Oooh, how it's been so long
We're so sorry we've been gone
We were busy writing songs for
You
Monday, January 7th
Oh no.
Back to basics. =]
Panic at the disco has gone back to doing the word puzzle thing they did on the first day of this conundrum!
Currently in the view source: 'Nice to see you again'.
HOWEVER. I have been informed that earlier today, The image, instead of containing the four letters 'PETD', had 'PATD' in the same slots before. This might have just been a joke on Panic!'s part... What do you think?

PETD... What could fill in the blanks?? Come on people, guessing is your thing! And so is updating. Thank you again to ALL the people who gave me updates on the website.
-Up, eat? Is the best I can do. Sad, I know. Help me guess, haha.
Oh and, the image's name is 'youdonthavetoworry3'.
Wednesday, January 9th
I'm going to start checking the website every half an hour now. More updates, more and more and more! Thank you to ryreenkisses for the information, and to Brendon Urie for the screenie [facebook XDD]
is what the hidden message ended up like. Who would have guessed that?! Pretty odd...
Now let's take a look at the numbers. The obvious answer would be it is a date, March 25th 2008. BUT, the real question is, what is it for? The album release date? And do you think 'pretty odd' could be a potential song? EDIT: This is at the top of their myspace page... It's the album name! What do you think of it?

Today's source code message:
'Nice to see you again
Sorry for being late
Traffic was really bad
Hope you weren't waiting too long'
Song lyrics. Most likely. What do you think? Because 'nice to see you again' has been in almost every previous source code...
Thursday, January 10th

...All I can say is, SWEET =D PATD will be headlining the tour.
No uber cool source code message today, though. Oh and, the title of the page has been changed to 'Panic At The Disco'. THERE'S NO '!' anymore! Do you think it should come back? Cause I do!
Thursday, January 17th
Yay, an update! After a week of waiting, this is what PATD has changed...
-Page title changed to: 'PRETTY.ODD.' [which we know will be their new album's title]
-Hidden view source is now 'Hope you weren't about to leave'.
-New pictures, one is similiar to the previous honda civic tour one. The second one is another puzzle image, and its file name is 'heylookanotherpuzzle'. Gee thanks, Panic. xD

Alright so today there isn't MUCH to discuss today; other than the fact that '!' is gone from their name. What do you think, guys?
Friday, January 18th
Look at all the prettiness! Yay, go Panic!
Puzzle's filename: 'canyoufindtheotherpieces' And the banner's is just 'banner'.
If you click on the banner, it leads to PATD's newest myspace blog.
The view source is now:
'Hope you werent about to leave
Because you might miss all the fun'
Today's questions for you guys are:
What do you think the image will end up being? I'm guessing it will be their new album cover.

Saturday, January 19th
Oh look! If you click on the coloured puzzle piece, another one appears!
And the 'view source' now says,
"Hope you weren't about to leave
Because you might miss all the fun
You might want to look around a bit first"
[Thanks, liteblu004!]

Sunday, January 20th
A third piece is revealed when you click the first, then second piece on the puzzle!
This is in the view source:
'Hope you weren't about to leave
Because you might miss all the fun
You might want to look around a bit first
Who knows what you could find'
Hmm.. lyrics? Or just Panic being creative?

Sunday, January 20th [Part 2]
xxcurseofcurves has noticed that there are now 4 pieces!
Two updates in one day, wow! I'm going to have to start checking every few minutes...
This is the current hidden view source message:
'Hope you weren't about to leave
Because you might miss all the fun
You might want to look around a bit first
Who knows what you could find
You should stay at least one more day'
This is what the puzzle currently looks like:

I'm still thinking it will end up as the album cover. The letter on the puzzle piece located 3 rows down, 4 columns right, looks like it could be the last 'D' in PRETTY. ODD. What do you think? It could also be another concert announcement, possibly.. leave me your thoughts!
Tuesday, January 22nd
It's finished! [Or is it....] Keep click on the pieces till you get this:

And the view source now reads 'Oh, hello'. Back to the start... does this imply yet another mystery?! What do you guys think? Thank you to all the lovely commenters who remind me to check the website ;D
Wednesday, January 23rd
The view source has been updated!
liteblu004 has noticed as well.
'Oh, hello
Do you have time for one last challenge'
Ooh! Yes we do!!
Some addictional notes:
The link over the puzzle leads to the Honda Civic tour website [civictour.honda.com]
The link under the puzzle leads to Panic's pre-sale tickets for their tour [http://www.seetickets.com/panic/event.asp?showname=PANIC&e|promoter=359&filler1=see&filler3=id1panic&orderby=date]
Three of the shows are already sold out! Get 'em while you can ;D
Thursday, January 24th
Wow... big update! Let's start with the small details:
-View source hasn't changed at all
-Top image has changed
-Puzzle is gone, however the album cover image is there. It is called 'prettyodd'
-The website currently looks like this: [Remember to click to magnify image]

The first link in the text leads to the Nokia Music website [http://www.nokiausa.com/A4430157]
And the second leads to a CONTEST! WHERE YOU CAN BE IN THE NEW PATD MUSIC VIDEO! And you can even win two Nokia N95 phones!
But you have to be eighteen. -sighs-
So. Are you guys excited to see the other bands Panic's touring with? I love all three of them [Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound, & Phantom Planet]
Saturday, January 27th
Something has changed.
But I can't tell you what.
You have to find it yourself, because it's a secret...
Now, it's every man for himself...
-PATD is an evil band, bwaha-
Monday, January 28th
The mystery/big challenge thing is over!!! And I lost...Oh well.. =(
Okay..where do I start... Basically...
If you went [you can still go now] to the view source of the website, you would get a link. If you followed that link, you'd have to find another hidden link in an image, and THAT would lead you to a weird directory full of images and text files and notes and pictures. And more directories. There were sooo many links, each one of them would give you clues as to where to go next, and the basic point of the mystery was to find fifteen images, and then email them to a specific email address so you could win a prize. PATD only picked the first THREE people, however, so if you want to do the mystery go ahead, but the winners have already been chosen. This is why the last two lines in the image on http://panicatthedisco.com/thefinalchallenge/ are crossed out.
The mystery also included solving cryptic codes, watching a video for a long time in order to get a link, and shifting through random notes and such to get the ACTUALLY important stuff.
So if you got far in the mystery, tell me how many images you got! I only got about 4 or 5 before I got frustrated and realized the mystery had already been won. o_O
Here are all of the pieces, courtesy to patdonline.com:

Oh and, this is something interesting I found on the website:
IMPORTANT DATES:
==================
01.28.08
02.10.08
03.25.08
The first date is today, probably for the Nine in the Afternoon single, and the last one is when the new album Pretty.Odd. will be coming out.
I'm GUESSING that the second date [February 10th,
2008] will be the video release date. What do you guys think the second date is for?
